2. Your Guide To Personal Evolution: Let Go & Move Forward

From personal experience, it’s hard to move on and let go of the past especially when you’ve gotten used to your way of life. When you’ve gotten used to the people, the relationships, the experiences, the trauma, it hurts and is very painful but we need to be able to move on to step into our full potential.

Letting go isn’t about forgetting the past, it’s about releasing the emotions attached to it. Yunno, we can’t have ourselves bound in the cycle of it forever.

Letting go is about freedom. It’s about forgiving oneself and realizing it’s okay and beautiful to start again. It’s okay to have a beautiful relationship, to create new memories, to constantly evolve, and to allow joy and positivity into one’s life.

Dwelling on the past is harmful and destructive; it cages the human soul. There’s no doubt that you’ve had experiences that haunt you and make you wish you could take them back, but you can’t keep dwelling on them for long. We need to be able to concentrate on the present and the beautiful future that we have ahead of us. Like I read somewhere, the best of God is never in the past.

Endings are also new beginnings; life is a never-ending loop. We often forget that. For instance, for new life to emerge from a seed, it must be buried, die, and decay. Although it’s a difficult process, growth requires it. In their cocoons, caterpillars dissolve to become the lovely creatures that we see and admire as butterflies.

I’ve learned to value having a support system due to my problems. It’s crucial to have a support system that sticks by you during these adjustments. It’s a blessing that they are there for you, even if they don’t share your values and beliefs. Look for those who will always love and support you. I understand that circumstances vary and that people may not always have a network of support; in such cases, identify those traveling a similar path to yours and establish friendships. Encourage and support one another during these life transitions. Additionally, if at all possible, get a mentor—someone who has been in your shoes.

Most importantly, tell it to God. This helped me a whole lot. For every time I struggle to let go and move, I surrender it to God over and over again. As many times as it comes to mind, I surrender as much as possible and this has shaped my life moving on. God is ever ready to walk us through the path we find ourselves on. We must always let Him in on whatever we are going through.

In conclusion, growth can be uncomfortable, but it’s very necessary. You can’t grow in your comfort zone. Let go, live life, make meaningful relationships and choices, and forgive, you might not forget but always forgive, and more importantly; forgive yourself and evolve into all God wants you to be and has prepared for you.

I hope this helps you.
